Here is a video showing how to make an apple galette with the dough in my previous video. Here are the ingredients for the filling:
1 1/4 pounds of Granny Smith or Pink Lady apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/8" cubes
4 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 recipe of your favorite pie dough
1 egg, for egg wash
1 tablespoon cream or milk, for egg wash
Simply mix them all together and use as a delicious filling!
