How to Make Hollandaise

Who doesn't love hollandaise? My personal favorite of the mother sauces, this velvety, buttery goodness goes on just about anything (in my professional opinion, of course!). Here is a video on one method of making the perfect hollandaise.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

2 egg yolks

1 1/2 teaspoons cold water

1 tablespoon lemon juice, divided

1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted and kept warm

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
